  • Bel Knight & Clare Hoey


    Writers

    Bel Knight & Clare Hoey are the writers and creators of DELILAH MUST DIE, optioned by Big Talk and featured on the 2020 Brit List of Britain’s best unproduced scripts. Their original comedies HEART SQUAD 5, DODY and FLUTTER have been optioned by Firebird Pictures, Channel 4/Roughcut. Clare & Bel have also worked on commissions for Netflix, NBCUniversal and Audible, and developed projects with Tiger Aspect. Their comedy play IT’S NOT CUTE ANYMORE was produced by Theatre503 and had a sell-out run before transferring to Underbelly at the Edinburgh Fringe. They are currently writing their debut feature film with Minor Realm, with Dev Patel attached to star.


  • Playwright

    Chantelle is a prolific playwright, her produced shows include THE GREAT PAUSE, by Pluck Productions, EV(E)OLUTION, performed at the Criterion Theatre, FRAMES, performed at Southwark Playhouse; WHERE DE MANGOES GROW, staged reading at The Space; BLUE INTO GOLD, performed at The Omera; CANCEL THE SUNSHINE, performed at Ronny Scott’s and The Hope Theatre; MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR, performed at The Omnibus Theatre; THE TEACHER WHO LOVED ME, performed at Old Red Lion Theatre; MOMENTS (pre-production) working with Blue Roller Productions; WOUNDS, performed at The Tristan Bates Theatre. She is developing her her original dark comedy DOLLY with Lucky 17.

  • Writer

    Having previously worked in production with BBC Studios, ITV Studios and Talkback Thames, Cherlynn utilized her time being freed up by the pandemic to finally focus on her writing talents. She penned several spec scripts, all of which have been selected or shortlisted for various awards and initiatives including: the BBC Writers’ Room 2020, UKTV Writer’s Slam 2021, Alannah Olivia’s Voices of the Future 2021, Netflix Shadow Writers' Scheme. and the Black Women in Scripted Award 2021. Cherlynn is currently developing an original comedy script with Tiger Aspect and filming a non TX pilot for her original sitcom GURL GANG INC with Lucky 17.

  • Animator

    British-Nigerian Hameed runs Ronu Creative, an animation studio, he has paired with British-Muslim public speaker and filmmaker.

    Mariah Idrissi on A WILD IFTAR - an animated children’s series about Ramadan, currently in development with Lucky 17.

  • Writer

    JULIE TSANG is a Chinese-British writer from Glasgow. She is currently on a residency with the National Theatre of Scotland (John Mather Trust Award).

    She was mentored on the New Playwrights’ Programme with the Playwrights Studio Scotland in 2012. Her recent credits include TROON at Theatre 503 in London and I’M WITH CHICO at the Tron theatre in Glasgow. Her plays have also been adapted for film and her recent play RUN is currently in post-production. Julie was shortlisted for the New Short Play Award with Cumbernauld Theatre in Scotland and made the final in The Progressive Playwright Award at the Tron Theatre in 2015. Julie is a facilitator for Stage to Page, a monthly new-writing event.

    Her original comedy HOT FLOOD (based on her time taking part in an early menopause medical study) is being developed by Lucky 17, with a recent script commission from Sky Studios.

  • Mariah Idrissi


    Public speaker & filmmaker

    Mariah Idrissi became recognised as the world’s first hijab wearing model for H&M in 2015. She is a Writer and international Diversity and Inclusivity Consultant, specialising in Muslim audiences. She has worked with brands such as MAC cosmetics, Facebook and Sky to name a few. In 2018, she became recognised as a MIPAD – Most Influential People of African Descent at the United Nations.

    Mariah has co-written and acted in a comedy shorts series called the 'Halalians" which have garnered over 3 million views collectively online. She is currently developing her first animated series ‘A Wild Iftar” with Lucky 17 scripted dept.

  • Prithu+Sruti-Banerjee


    Writer duo

    Prithu & Sruti Banerjee are a Brimingham-born, London based brother-and-sister writing duo whose work explores the South Asian experience from a comedic lens. Prithu and Sruti graduated from Oxford with a Masters in Engineering Science and a Bachelors in Law respectively, and have launched their debut series, CHAI LATTE, which was one of six finalists of the 2021 UKTV WriterSlam, and which is now represented by Lucky 17.

    Prithu and Sruti have recently signed with Curtis Brown.

  • Tabby Lamb

    Writer/Performer

    Tabby Lamb is a trans femme, non-binary writer and performer. Strives to tell stories that explore intersections between popular culture and politics.

    Tabby won a Scotsman Fringe First Award at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2022 for her joyful, queer rom-com HAPPY MEAL (Roots Touring) which played at the Traverse Theatre before completing a short UK tour. The play was also longlisted for the BBC Writersroom Popcorn Award. Her debut solo show SINCE U BEEN GONE, which Tabby wrote and performed, premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2019, after previewing at the Gate Theatre. The show was spectacularly received by audiences and garnered a glowing 4* write up from the Guardian who called the play “bold, honest and swollen with love”.

    Tabby is a BFI Flare x BAFTA Crew member 2021, an artistic associate for the Sky Arts Bursary at Stratford East, an associate writer with Middle Child, she’s on attachment at the Oxford Playhouse via their Playhouse Playmaker scheme 2021 and she’s developing new work on the Wild Child’s Oli Lansley mentor scheme, mentored by Sarah Solemani. She has previously been part of the Soho Theatre Writers Lab and the LGBTQ Arts Review #RaisingOurVoices scheme for queer and trans writers. Current commissions include the Kilter and Pentabus. Alongside their passion for writing, Tabby is a facilitator and runs creative arts projects for young people from the LGBTQ+ community.

    Her original musical comedy She Wolf is being developed with Lucky 17 and Eleven productions.
